The Insurance Group, an Acrisure agency partner, has a current need for a full-time Customer Service Representative. This individual will act as a liaison, provide policy information, and resolve any emerging problems that our agency’s customers might face with accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Fields phone calls and walk-in inquiries
  • Effectively services existing policyholders by processing change endorsements, collecting payments, assisting with claims and issuing new policies
  • Acts as an intermediary between customers and insurance companies by providing information to facilitate underwriting needs, inspection follow-up, claims, policy issuing, and other service items
  • Finds solutions for customer’s needs and risk exposure and problem solves for best solutions
  • Documents all interactions with customers and companies in the Agency Management System. Attaches all related documents from carrier and customers in the Agency Management System in a timely manner
  • Follows payment protocols by adhering to legal requirements as well as procedural processing within the Agency Management System
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with customer and agency information at all times

Education and Experience:
  • At least 1 year of prior insurance experience, preferred
  • At least 2 years of prior clerical/office administrative experience, required
  • High school diploma or the recognized equivalent, required
  • Strong phone contact and active listening skills, required
  • Licensed in Property/Casualty and/or Life/Health, preferred
Other Qualifications:
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of customers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
